From a two-day wait to real-time project costs

people using it
~80

800+
project spend visibility
2 days → live

The problem

Project managers had no live view of what their jobs were costing. They requested a spend report from accounting, waited roughly two days, and received a version with pay-rate data stripped out — by which time the numbers were already stale.

What we built

  • Started small: a single web page that showed a project manager every number on their job, live, straight from the company's ERP data.
  • Grew it, one proven piece at a time, into a full operations platform: timesheets and expenses, job quotes, job costing, scheduling, and reporting for every type of user.
  • Built for a workforce of veteran engineers and field staff — people who don't adopt new software unless it saves them time.

The result

  • Project managers see spend in real time instead of waiting days
  • Around 80 active users logging 800+ events every day
  • One system of record for time, expenses, quoting and job cost

Family-owned car dealership · Custom Web Applications

Three disconnected tools merged into one web app

~2 hrs
new reporting
Week · Month · Qtr · Year

The problem

The dealership ran on three tools that didn't talk: a public website, a desktop database tracking purchases and repairs that hadn't been touched in about 15 years, and a document someone retyped by hand to describe each car on the lot.

What we built

  • Built a single web application: staff log each vehicle, its purchase and its repairs once, from the office or from home.
  • The same data automatically drives the public website listings and the printed marketing sheet for the lot.
  • Added management reports and dashboards by week, month, quarter and year.

The result

  • One place to enter every vehicle — no more retyping
  • About two hours of data entry saved each week
  • Owner-level reporting that didn't exist before — the biggest win

A board portal that turns monthly KPIs into action

KPIs in one view
Monthly
board agendas
AI-drafted

The problem

The board had monthly KPIs and targets, but they lived in reports nobody acted on. Meetings drifted, and follow-ups got lost between months.

What we built

  • A private, plain-English web portal for directors, the owner and the office staff who enter the data.
  • Each KPI shows its target, its trend and what to do when it's off track.
  • Tracks quarterly priorities, to-dos and open issues — and uses AI to draft each month's board meeting agenda.

The result

  • Every director sees the same numbers before the meeting
  • Off-target KPIs come with a recommended next step
  • Agenda prep reduced to reviewing a draft

Every

The problem

Each site ran on WordPress with a page-builder theme and a stack of plugins: monthly hosting costs, constant updates, slow pages on phones — and in one case, a site that crashed outright and showed visitors an error page.

What we built

  • Moved each site's text, photos and page titles onto a fast static site served from Cloudflare's global network.
  • Rebuilt the crashed site entirely from its backup, without needing the broken WordPress to run.
  • Optimized every photo automatically, added structured data for local search, and redirected every old URL so rankings carry over.

The result

  • No more plugin, theme or core updates to manage
  • Little to no monthly hosting cost
  • Faster pages on phones, with search titles and descriptions preserved
